Getting Around
Taiwan High Speed Railway
The THSR goes through 11 main cities ( 12 stations ) along the western part of Taiwan at the moment.
Railway
Trains on the round-the-island rail network provide extremely convenient services. Tickets may be purchased three days in advance.
Kaohsiung Metro ( MRT & Light Rail Transit )
The KRT currently has three lines in operation. Tickets can be purchased at automatic-ticket machines in all KRT stations.
The Metro runs from 6 am to 12 midnight seven days a week. And the Light Rail Transit runs from 6:30 to 22:00 seven days a week.
Smoking, eating, drinking or gum chewing are strictly prohibited on all KRT trains.

All fares are displayed on the meter. For airport transportation, NT$50 surcharge will be added for international line service, no charge for domestic line.
